Sales Executive in Oslo Norway

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and professional colleague, who enjoys working in teams and is eager to invest his/her own professional development. In the sales executive role, you will have a combined responsibility for existing customers as well as growing the customer base by adding new ones. You will establish a strategic position at the customer and ensure a good customer experience.



From Posti Messaging we are offering our clients the possibility of digitalizing their communication processes end-to-end. Regardless if the messages are sales and marketing, customer service, HR, finance or related to other document intensive processes we have the tools that provides shorter lead times, increased data quality, cost efficiency and overall smart ways of doing interactive communication. You will, together with specialists, ensure that the customers communication processes will become more efficiently handled by utilizing modern tools that enables digital transformation as well as conversation.


As Sales Executive your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop new and existing sales opportunities together with new as well as existing customers, mainly in targeted verticals
  • Develop regional sales plans and strategies which aligns with the overall sales and marketing strategy, to ensure achievement of budgeted regional sales objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure that Posti Messaging becomes the company of choice
  • Analyze and define business trends, market requirements, competitor activities and business development opportunities that can be used to underpin profitable sales plans and strategies
  • Work together with the whole Scandinavian sales team and other functional teams to capitalize on opportunities to grow the business



  • Commercial sales experience towards companies that are mainly B2C oriented
  • Understand the customer challenges related to improving the end-customer experience
  • Commercial understanding of sales achievements and customer business development as well as selling value added services
  • Strong background in selling complex solutions
  • Proven track record of contributing to company strategy


Personal requirements:

  • Passionate sales personality
  • Strong customer focus with an eye for business opportunities
  • Self-dependent with ability to build long term relations
  • Great presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Strong negotiator


To succeed in this role you also need to have strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian and ability to work in a global organization within virtual teams. We are in contact with our international colleagues on a daily basis and while English is our official language, we communicate with many of our customers in Norwegian.
