Manager Platform & Development for Scandinavia

We are looking for a manager for a team of 10 people working with platform ownership and development of our Scandinavian platforms. The team members are based in Stockholm, Göteborg and Riga, Latvia

As Manager for Platform and Development for Scandinavia your main responsibilities will include:

  • Line manager for 10 people; development plans, salaries, budget, etc
  • In addition, responsible for management of ~5 consultants
  • Development of roadmaps, ownership of the platforms
  • Budget, follow-up and report of IT costs
  • Lead virtual core team for relevant platform development, change management and project activities
  • Sales support activities
  • Vendor and governance management for component or service providers
  • Shared responsibility for the end2end service for our customers
  • Responsibility for platform continuity and constant development
  • Part of escalation path for customer incidents
  • Evolving way of working to Cx and DevOps

Platform responsibilities:

  • Secure the continuity of Scandinavian platforms and their interfaces
  • Ensure availability, security and functionality of the platforms according to the business requirements
  • Ensure effective change management on the area
  • Ensure effective monitoring, provide status and SLA reporting to stakeholders
  • Lead IT renewal initiatives, drive platform’s high availability and scalability

Development responsibilities:

  • Ensure solution architecture is best practice and continuously evolving
  • Ensure developed updates are delivered on time and with quality
  • Continuous improvement plans within budget
  • Investments
  • E2E process and delivery

In your application we will be browsing:

  • 4+ years of experience on management/maintenance/development of business critical platforms, experience from financial sector and of DevOps of extra value
  • Strong planning, organizing and interpersonal skills
  • Documented management experience, at least 3+ years
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Swedish.
  • Academic or higher vocational degree on IT
  • Self-starter with high initiative and result oriented
  • Change driver
  • Determined and persistent, solution and customer oriented
  • Excellent competence in ITIL and experience in process management and improvement (Lean, SixSigma)
  • Excellent communication skills
